Bespoke Furniture

On this page you can find pictures of other work that we have carried out that doesn't fit in with any of the other categories. These are all pieces of custom joinery that have been designed and made by Mark Waldron Interiors which are unique to the customer.

This highly impressive layout was supplied and fitted by ourselves to a customer who needed to tidy up his conservatory and so he wanted lots of units to store kids toys mainly but also to house a large flat screen TV, games console and DVD players and their respective games and DVDs. All the units and doors are Montana Oak coloured with matching solid oak knobs. The left picture shows the real height of the units with storage underneath the TV for the DVD players etc. The right picture shows the enormous amount of storage and shelf space available just in the tall units.

These two photos show the sheer size of the units and show the symmetry with which the layout was expertly planned and designed by Mark Waldron. As I'm sure you'll agree the colour and design are perfectly matched to the pre-existing furniture and carpets.

This unit was designed to house books in the open, centre cupboard and then DVDs stacked in the drawers.

Above are some trophy cabinets that we supplied and fitted for Nether Stowe High School. It includes 5 lockable, glass cabinets for displaying inter-form trophies. Finished with vinyl doors in 'Pippy Oak' colour with matching cornice and pelmet to finish it off beautifully.

This custom furniture was made for a loft conversion being used as a music room. The left picture shows a free standing unit with space for DJ turntables on top and then space underneath for amplifiers and various sound units in the middle and vinyl records above and to the side. The right picture shows cupboards fitted underneath a supporting beam to which allows for lots of storage both in and behind the units.

The left picture shows the units from the other angle all the way to the wall. Made from 18mm beech board the two middle units are designed to hold more vinyl records with small space for CD's at the top as displayed in the right picture. The two outer cabinets are just frames which allow access to behind the record storage units and allow for lots more space.

These are two example of bathroom furniture we have supplied (NB. We don't fit bathrooms at all, these units are merely supplied from ourselves). On the left we have two silver sink units with vinyl doors and on the left an extra tall fascia to house a hot water tank and boiler. Finished in pure which high gloss vinyl, it features two doors, a plinth panel for the bottom and a fascia panel that has been scribed and fitted tight to the sloped ceiling for a fitted look.

A beech reception desk at a dentists surgery. It replaced an impractical old oak desk with something that suited all their needs and looked more modern.

A small display unit behind the desk matches the decor panels on the front with shelves fitted underneath.             A view of the desk with paperwork slots.

A large study area used by someone who often works from home so storage space for files was a definite, hence the large bookshelves covering the back wall.

A convenient printer and fax cupboard with pull-out top tray with makes the fax a lot more accessible and easy to use and it can be hidden away when not in use.

A large file drawer ideal if you're working from home.            PC hidden away in a cupboard.        A smaller stationary drawer situated in the desks kneehole.

Base cabinets being built.                    Base cabinets fitted in with worktop cut and fitted.               Measuring and fitting uprights for the shelves to be put in.

CD storage space on the right with space for almost anything else on the left.       The finished article, ready for painting.

'U'-shaped desk setup with worktops precision cut around a pillar.       Desk runs along wall where it has been cut to suit the wall and pillar.

This shows how the pillar runs through the cupboard.          A run of cupboards with a wing end and a filing cabinet fitted under the worktop beautifully
